Netflix’s breakout phenomenon Adolescence continued its awards-season domination Sunday at the 2026 BAFTA Television Awards in London.
After winning eight Emmys last September, the acclaimed limited series became the only show of the night to win four BAFTAs, taking home Limited Drama, Leading Actor for Stephen Graham, Supporting Actor for Owen Cooper, and Supporting Actress for Christine Tremarco. In one of the ceremony’s biggest surprises, Tremarco prevailed over her co-star Erin Doherty, who had previously won the Emmy, Golden Globe, and Critics Choice Award.
The sweep made Adolescence the most-awarded series ever at the main BAFTA TV Awards, surpassing previous three-win highs set by such acclaimed shows as Killing Eve and Happy Valley.
Elsewhere, The Studio won International Series, with Seth Rogen dedicating the award to his late co-star Catherine O’Hara during an emotional acceptance speech. Amandaland won Scripted Comedy, while The Celebrity Traitors took home both Reality and the public-voted Memorable Moment Award. Dame Mary Berry received the BAFTA Fellowship, and Martin Lewis was honored with the BAFTA Special Award.
