Get ready to head back to the pitch. Ted Lasso is officially returning this summer, and Apple TV has unveiled the first teaser trailer for Season 4 — offering fans an early look at the next chapter of the Emmy-winning comedy.
The streamer confirmed that the full cast is suiting up once again, led by Jason Sudeikis and Hannah Waddingham, as AFC Richmond gears up for more action both on and off the field. Check out the new trailer below.

The Emmy-winning comedy began principal photography on July 21 in Kansas City — Jason Sudeikis’s hometown — with additional filming in London.
What’s the plot?
The show’s Season 4 logline reads: “Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”
Which cast members are returning for Ted Lasso Season 4?
Ted Lasso fan favorites are back. In addition to Jason Sudeikis, Emmy winners Hannah Waddingham and Brett Goldstein will reprise their roles. Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift will also return as their beloved AFC Richmond characters.
Who are the new cast members?
Season 4 introduces several new faces: Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern. Additionally, Grant Feely will join the cast as Ted’s son, Henry.

Who’s behind the scenes?
Season 4 welcomes Emmy winner Jack Burditt (Modern Family, 30 Rock, Nobody Wants This) as an executive producer under a new overall deal with Apple TV+. Jason Sudeikis executive produces alongside Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Brett Goldstein returns as a writer and executive producer, joined by Leanne Bowen. Additional key contributors include Sarah Walker and Phoebe Walsh as co-executive producers and writers, Julia Lindon as a writer, and Dylan Marron as the story editor. Sasha Garron is on as co-producer.
Bill Lawrence continues as executive producer through his Doozer Productions, working with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television under NBCUniversal Content. Doozer’s Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer also serve as executive producers. The series was originally developed by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Kelly, and Hunt, based on the preexisting format and characters from NBC Sports.
