[This story contains minor spoilers for A24 movie Tony.] Matt Johnson, the director behind A24’s Anthony Bourdain movie, Tony, didn’t know all that much about Anthony Bourdain. “I viewed him as just a kind of Gen X host who I had zero connection with,” says the filmmaker. For the uninitiated, Bourdain is the chef-turned-writer-turned-media personality behind Parts Unknown and No Reservations, known for traveling, eating and poetically opining on far-flung cuisines and cultures, and introducing audiences to remote corners of the world from behind a pair of Persols. Since his death by suicide in 2018 at the age of 61,…
This gorgeous actress just dropped another timeless thirst trap … and she must have made a deal with the Devil … because she looks incredible at 61. This busty Brit has been in several films … but one of her most popular had her playing Satan … toying with a poor, vulnerable Brendan Fraser. She’s hot as hell in the movie, and hasn’t cooled off in the quarter century since.
Big Brother 28’s Lyric Medeiros saw the writing on the wall. She’d been saying since Day 1 that if Haley Thogmartin ever grabbed HOH, she was toast — so when Haley slid her onto the block as a renom, it wasn’t much of a surprise. On Day 31, the house sent her home in an 8-3 vote over Melody Morris, because Lyric had comp wins on her résumé and Melody didn’t. Easy call. Lyric’s still not over it. “I was up last night and I was thinking about who I would put up on the block,” she tells Gold Derby,…
Lizzo simply wanted to feel better from head to toe. “Once I started working out for mental health, to have balanced mental health or endorphins, so that I don’t look at myself in the mirror and feel ashamed of myself, and feel disgusted with myself,” the “Good as Hell” singer explained in a May 2023 TikTok, “exercise has helped me shift my mind, not my body.” She acknowledged in a January 2025 TikTok that she was on an “intentional weight loss journey,” her goal was simply to be the best version of herself. “Even at the end of my weight loss…
Transformers movies are now a regular event in movie theaters; there have been seven in the nineteen years since Michael Bay first brought the war between the Autobots and Decepticons into live-action in 2007. But 40 years ago, there was only one way to see bots battling on the big screen; a way that traumatized a generation of fans. Now, they can experience it all over again when the first and best Transformers movie returns to theaters in one month. 1986’s animated extravaganza Transformers: The Movie exploded out of the TV screen and into theaters in a big way, opening…

Canadian auteur Denis Côté received a new kidney from a donor friend in August 2023, after a degenerative disease had threatened both his life and his ability to keep making movies. “I didn’t know if I’d receive a transplant or dialysis, or if I’d die. I had no clue what was life on the other side or whatever was upcoming,” Côté tells The Hollywood Reporter ahead of the world premiere of his 17th film, Nobody’s Violence, at the Locarno Film Festival. He wrote the script for the drama — about a young woman who makes a death pact to…

Getty Scoring an invite to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s wedding was a major surprise for Cooper Kupp!
