With Memorial Day right around the corner, this week is giving more “couch and wine” than “rise and grind,” ya know?
If your Wednesday is feeling more like a Friday, you can kick back and relax with the season finale of Margo’s Got Money Trouble, a new episode of the buzzy horror comedy Widow’s Bay, or the series premiere of Maxium Pleasure Guaranteed, all of which are streaming on Apple TV.
If you’re not an Apple TV subscriber, you could also stream the series finale of The Boys or the new Jack Ryan movie on Prime Video, the season finale of Survivor on CBS, or the first two episodes of Dutton Ranch on Paramount+.
So many options; so little time.
Unfortunately, if you were planning to spend the night with One Chicago, well, we have some bad news: the season finales of Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago P.D. aired last week (May 13) on NBC. What does that mean for your three favorite NBC shows that take place in or around the Chicago area? Great question.
Here’s when One Chicago returns with new episodes.
Is One Chicago New Tonight (May 20)?
Nope. All three season finales aired last week (May 13) on NBC. Tonight’s primetime NBC schedule consists of Game 2 of the Spurs/Thunder Western Conference Finals matchup, which begins at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Have Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Chicago Med Been Renewed?
You know it. One Chicago isn’t going anywhere. In March, it was announced that all three shows were renewed, keeping NBC’s popular Wednesday night One Chicago block intact for another season.
It was also announced that the new seasons will feature a host of familiar faces. The leads of all three programs will be back, with Epatha Merkerson (Med), Oliver Platt (Med), Taylor Kinney (Fire), Miranda Rae Mayo (Fire), and Jason Beghe (P.D.) all set to return to their respective shows.
When Do Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, and Chicago Med Return With New Episodes?
No official release date has been announced, but based on previous seasons, we expect the trio of shows to return in the fall with new episodes. Our best guess is late September or early October.
Where To Watch One Chicago Online:
All three shows are available to stream on Peacock, with the newest seasons also available on NBC.com.
One Chicago is expected to return this fall on NBC.
