Mister Smith Entertainment has unveiled a first-look still of its supernatural horror film “Hide and Don’t Speak.”
Pic features the film’s star Momona Tamada (“Avatar: The Last Airbender”). The cast also includes Tanner Buchanan (“Cobra Kai,” “How to Date Billy Walsh”), Garrett Wareing (“The Long Walk”), Quvenzhané Wallis (Oscar nominee for “Beasts of the Southern Wild”), Kaitlyn Kemp (“Street Smart”) and John Hewson (“These Sacred Vows”).
The film is currently shooting in Northern Ireland, with Mister Smith Entertainment continuing international sales in Cannes.
In “Hide and Don’t Speak,” six teenagers play a terrifying viral Japanese game in which the players summon a vengeful spirit for a deadly round of hide-and-seek.
The film is directed by “The Beast Within” helmer Alexander J. Farrell, from a script by Greer Ellison and Farrell. It’s produced by Range Media Partners, the producers of “Longlegs” and “The Monkey.” Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (“Longlegs,” “The Monkey,” “Dangerous Animals”), Fred Berger (“A Complete Unknown”), Noah Reich, Matt Coatsworth and Wildcard’s Patrick O’Neill (“Kneecap,” “Frewaka”) are onboard to produce.
