When is Tires season 3 coming to Netflix? Here’s when fans can expect new episodes

If you’re a fan of comedy, then you have definitely been loving the recent boom in Netflix original comedy series. In the past few years, the streaming service has had a renaissance with a number of fan-favorite and critically acclaimed hits like Nobody Wants This, A Man on the Inside, The Four Seasons, Running Point, and the Shane Gillis workplace comedy Tires.

From creators Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and John McKeever, Tires takes place in the Valley Forge Automotive Center repair shop in Pennsylvania as long-time friends work together to help boost the struggling store. Following the release of the second season back in June 2025, Tires season 3 officially has a release date that brings the hilarious comedy back this summer.

Tires season 3 premieres on Netflix in August 2026

Netflix returns to Valley Forge on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026 with the third season’s release. Gillis, Gerben, and McKeever announced the Tires season 3 release date during a Netflix Is A Joke live event, sharing the news directly to fans. While the series returns annually once again, season 3 arrives a little more than a year after season 2’s release, but it will surely be worth the wait.

Along with the release date announcement, Netflix revealed a collection of behind the scenes photos of Gillis, Gerben, and the cast on set of Tires season 3. There aren’t any official stills from the third season or a teaser trailer just yet, but fans can get a glimpse at the cast and crew having fun while making the new episodes. Check out the photos in the Instagram post below!

The main cast of Tires remains unchanged for the third season with the series regulars being Gillis as Shane, Gerben as Will, Chris O’Connor as Cal, Kilah Fox as Kilah, Stavros Halkias as Dave. The second season also starred Thomas Haden Church as Shane’s dad Phil. Tires also boasts guest stars like Andrew Schulz, Tommy Pope, Veronika Slowikowska, Jon Lovitz, Vince Vaughn, and more.

For the upcoming new season coming in August, there have already been a long list of guest stars previously announced, and they include Jamie Lynn Sigler, Billy Magnussen, Taylor Misiak, Sofia Hasmik, Bobby Lee, Dan Soder, Rachel Blanchard, Garret Dillahunt, Anjelica Bette Fellini, and Matt Walsh. Tires continues to attract both up and comers and well-known names to round out its cast.

By the end of the second season, Shane and Will were still trying their best to save Valley Forge Automotive Center from going under, and for the time being, they have been mostly successful at saving the business. There will undoubtedly be even more struggles to come for the business and the cousins working with Phil in season 3, not to mention plenty of personal and romantic twists, too.

Before Tires season 3 premieres on Aug. 13, Netflix will share more details and release the official trailer. Stay tuned for more news and updates on the comedy series!
