It seems like just yesterday 9-1-1 was taking viewers to space and 9-1-1: Nashville was introducing fans of the OG series to fresh faces in Music City. But believe it or not, the season finales for ABC’s hit first responder dramas have arrived!
After 9-1-1 Season 9’s eventful (incredibly stressful!) penultimate episode left fans fearing for Athena (Angela Bassett) and Eddie’s (Ryan Guzman) lives, Episode 18, “Hearts and Flowers,” finally reveals their fates. “Following Athena’s shooting, the 118 gathers at the hospital awaiting news. Meanwhile, the mastermind behind the trafficking ring is determined to silence Athena and anyone who gets in his way for good,” ABC’s official finale synopsis reads.
Meanwhile, 9-1-1: Nashville Season 1’s penultimate episode featured an awkward date, a Dixie (LeAnn Rimes) diss track, and a big Blythe (Jessica Capshaw)/Don (Chris O’Donnell) blowout. According to ABC’s official finale synopsis, “Blythe and Don’s relationship is still on the rocks, then the 113 rush in when a Noah Cyrus sound check goes off the rails.” Yes, really!
