This year’s Emmy “For Your Consideration” season officially kicked off on March 2 and ends June 10. It’s the time of year when networks and studios fully engage with Television Academy members in Los Angeles and New York by offering screenings, Q&As, receptions, and more events featuring the biggest awards contenders. Some Emmy voters show up hoping to snap photos with the stars, others are just there for the free food and drinks.
In recent years, streamers like Netflix, Prime Video, and Hulu hosted fully immersive FYC houses encapsulating all their respective projects campaigning in a given cycle. However, as Gold Derby reported, those companies have pulled back on Emmy popups this season, and allocating those funds (which could range from $1 million to $5 million) elsewhere. Note that Apple TV still staged a two-week long event in Century City, Calif. — check it out.
That leaves the long-running and official TV Academy-sanctioned events as the places where Emmy voters can go to experience the programs that are being pushed for awards. Gold Derby has you covered on all of them in the lead-up to the 2026 Emmys.

With more than 27,000 TV Academy members organized into 31 different peer groups, not everyone can attend every event. That’s where the lottery system comes into play. All Emmy voters who RSVP for an FYC experience are randomly selected and notified; those not selected are added to a waiting list.
The 2026 Emmy nominations will be announced July 8.
