Fan-fave Rick Devens, the Survivor legend who loves making waves on reality TV shows, found himself on Big Brother‘s chopping block for the first time on Monday afternoon after Head of Household Drew Campbell put him up as a renom.
In other words, the Crossovers alliance — made up of Devens, Dee Valladares, Angela Murray, Barrett Pfeiffer, and Drew — is officially dead. Maybe they should rename it the Crossed-out?
Devens began the week thinking he was safe. But then, nominee Yash Patel won the Power of Veto and used it to remove himself from the block. Drew had to name a replacement nominee to sit alongside LaTrice “Lala” Verrett and Taylor Brown, and he chose Devens.
The Survivor player’s Big Brother journey isn’t over quite yet. He still has one chance to save himself in Thursday’s Block Buster arena. Either he, LaLa, or Taylor will win the competition and be safe from eviction, while the other two will face the live vote.
It’s been a memorable week inside the BB house. Shortly after Mallory Aurichio was evicted in the 1,000th episode, the houseguests experienced a Medieval Times twist where Haley Thogmartin was eliminated from the game. (Her exit press will take place Wednesday morning.) The week then continued like normal, with Drew winning HOH and Yash claiming Veto.
Whoever goes home on Thursday will officially become the first member of the seven-person jury who will crown the winner of Season 28 on Oct. 1.
