The last few years have been nothing short of a massive breakout for Michael B. Jordan, who was already one of the biggest stars in the world thanks to his villainous role as Killmonger in the first Black Panther movie. In 2025, Jordan reunited with his long-time director and friend Ryan Coogler for the vampire horror sensation, Sinners, which grossed over $370 million at the box office to become one of the highest-grossing original films of all time. Jordan even won the Oscar for Best Lead Actor for his dual performance as Smoke and Stack in the film, even beating the likes of Timothée Chalamet in Marty Supreme and Leonardo DiCaprio in One Battle After Another. Jordan is also attached to lead new projects like The Thomas Crown Affair and The Fifth Wing.
Long before he was starring in Marvel movies or winning Oscars in huge blockbusters, Michael B. Jordan took the reins from Sylvester Stallone as the new head of the Rocky franchise with the Creed movies, where he stars as Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo Creed, who was played by the late Carl Weathers. The Creed movies have been streaming on Netflix for most of this year, but unfortunately, the streamer announced that all three films are being removed from the platform at the end of the month. The last day to watch all three Creed movies on Netflix will be on August 31, and it’s unclear at this time which platform they will migrate to once they’re removed from Netflix. They will continue to be available to rent or purchase on VOD platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV.

Is Michael B. Jordan Doing Another ‘Creed’ Movie?
It’s been confirmed for a while now that another Creed movie is officially in the works, with Jordan set to return and star as Adonis Creed and also direct the film. He made his directorial debut a few years ago on Creed 3, which has become controversial in recent years due to the role of his co-star Jonathan Majors. In addition to starring in and directing the next Creed movie, Jordan also has the same set of responsibilities: starring and directing for the third take on The Thomas Crown Affair, co-starring Adria Arjona and Kenneth Branagh. The film opens in theaters on March 5, 2027.
