Nominations for the 2026 Imagen Awards were announced on Thursday, spotlighting Latino talent across film, television, music, and more.
This year’s slate includes major stars like Selena Gomez (Only Murders in the Building), Zoe Saldaña (Avatar: Fire and Ash), America Ferrera (The Lost Bus), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer), Ramón Rodríguez (Will Trent), and Eugenio Derbez (Acapulco).
One notable wrinkle on the film side: while the Imagen Foundation announced nominees for Best Feature Film and Best Actress, it confirmed to Gold Derby there are no film categories this year for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, or Best Director.
For television, Acapulco led the way with 13 nominations, while popular titles like The Lincoln Lawyer, Will Trent, and 9-1-1 also had strong showings.
Last week, the Imagen Foundation announced that Andy Garcia would receive this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award during the Aug. 21 gala at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Also that evening, Acapulco creators Austin Winsberg and Eugenio Derbez, and showrunner Sam Laybourne will be honored with the Creative Achievement Award. And Los Angeles county board chair and first district supervisor Hilda L. Solis will be recognized with the President’s Award.
