Dutton Ranch fans just can’t get enough!

After the explosive Season 1 finale, fans are already demanding more. DECIDER previously broke down the season finale, where Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser) have to face the dangerous Beulah (Annette Bening) and ultimately protect their family. Without getting into any spoilers (though beware, there are some below), there are dramatic twists and turns and a shocking death! The end of Season 1 marks the beginning of a fantastic series, not just a money-grab of a Yellowstone spinoff. After the end of the first season, it’s clear that Dutton Ranch is here to stay. People simply can’t stop talking about it.

Unfortunately, Taylor Sheridan is taking his sweet time, which is only causing more anticipation. But, it doesn’t seem fair with all the questions the finale has left fans with. What’s next for Beth and Rip? The people need to know! Well, DECIDER is here to let you in on everything we know about the future of Dutton Ranch.

How many episodes are there in Dutton Ranch Season 1?

Season 1 of Dutton Ranch consists of nine episodes.

Will there be a Season 2 of Dutton Ranch?

Hallelujah! DECIDER previously reported that Paramount+ officially renewed the series for Season 2 on June 24.

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE DUTTON RANCH SEASON 1 FINALE!

In the final moments of Season 1, we see Mariano (Raoul Max Trujillo) call Beth, telling her, “I have your boy.” At this moment, Beth cries to Rip, “They have Carter!” However, Rip states the fact that Mariano is using Carter (Finn Little) to get what they really want: them. The last line of the first season is from Beth, who says, “Then they’re gonna fucking get us.” What an ending!

Don’t you worry, DECIDER answered every question you might have after watching Dutton Ranch Season 1!

When does the next season of Dutton Ranch come out?

As of right now, it’s unknown when Season 2 will premiere. Rest assured, you can expect Paramount to prioritize the highly successful show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, filming is expected to begin in early 2027. Reilly told the outlet how involved Sheridan is in the creative process.

“We talk to him now about what the next season could be, and he wants to be involved.” she said. “So that feels like we earned this second season from all the work we’ve done before, and that’s the thing I’m most proud of.”

In the same interview, Hauser spoke on where he sees the story going.

“Everything’s on the table, and that’s the great thing,” he teased. “The one thing that’s más importante is that we get our kid back. That’s going to take a couple episodes, hopefully. But Carter needs to come home.”

How to watch Dutton Ranch online:

All episodes of the first season of Dutton Ranch are available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.

Paramount+ offers two subscription plans, Essential and Premium. Right now, you can get started with a seven-day free trial on the Premium plan.

The ad-supported Essential plan typically costs $8.99/month, while the ad-free Premium plan (which comes with Showtime titles and live CBS) costs $13.99/month.
