What is The Five Star Weekend about?
If you’re a fan of the book, you will be happy to know the adaptation will follow all of your favorite characters.
According to Peacock, the limited series will focus of Hollis Shaw (Garner), a celebrated food influencer struggling with grief following the tragic loss of her husband. Following his sudden death, Shaw’s relationship with her daughter becomes more complication. In an attempt to get back into life, Shaw gets the idea to host a “five star” weekend at her Nantucket house.
Shaw invites “three friends from different stages in her life: Her childhood, her twenties, thirties, and one surprise fifth star” in an attempt to heal from everything life has thrown at her. Think The Summer I Turned Pretty meets Big Little Lies!
