The 23rd Gold Derby TV Awards nominations are here! A record 6,800 registered Gold Derby users cast their votes in 30 categories covering dramas, comedies, movies, limited series, competition, and variety. Scroll down for our complete list of nominees in all categories, and vote here for the winners now through July 31. Winners will be announced on Aug. 17.
The final season of Hacks is the overall leader among series with 12 nominations. Tied with nine bids each are Abbott Elementary, Bridgerton, and Euphoria. Although not eligible for Emmys due to being a non-American production, Heated Rivalry has eight nods, followed by Emmy front-runner The Pitt, with seven nominations.
Gold Derby offers three categories not provided by the Television Academy and the Emmy Awards. The nominees for Performer of the Year are Stephen Colbert, Alan Cumming, Elle Fanning, Matthew Rhys, Noah Wyle, and Zendaya. This category is not tied to any particular show and not included as part of the nominee totals for each series. That also goes for Breakthrough Performer of the Year, whose nominees are Dexter Sol Ansell, Ella Bright, Yerin Ha, Ashley Padilla, Connor Storrie, and Hudson Williams. And the contenders for Ensemble of the Year (any genre) are Abbott Elementary, Bridgerton, Hacks, Heated Rivalry, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, and The Pitt.
For the first time, we will award Best Literary Adaptation. Nominees are All Her Fault, Bridgerton, Heated Rivalry, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, and Off Campus.
Voting commences effective immediately and winners will be chosen through a plurality vote in most categories. That means you’ll just select one nominee from each category as your favorite, and whoever has the most votes wins. But in the Best Comedy, Best Drama, and Best Limited Series races you’ll be able to rank your top three in order of preference. Your No. 1 choice will get three points, your second choice gets two points and your third choice gets one point.
To vote, you must have an account with Gold Derby, but don’t worry, registration is easy and totally free. Just visit our sign-up page and connect with Facebook, Google, X (Twitter), Apple, or an email address of your choosing. Once you’re in, feel free to vote right away in our predictions center because you can come back and edit your ballot as often as you like if you change your mind or catch up on more of the nominees. No votes are final until voting closes at the end of July 31. So which shows are your favorites? See the nominees below, then vote.

Each 2026 winner will receive a special trophy, and they will hopefully be able to provide us with many acceptance speeches for our Aug. 18 announcement.
