Everyone’s favorite mutants are back!
Season 2 of X-Men ’97 returned to Disney+ this July. The animated series gives fans a new look at their favorite comic book characters. the show is a continuation of the 90s series X-Men: The Animated Series.
X-men ’97 picks up a year after the original series, as the X-Men team faces new challenges without their founder Professor Charles Xavier (Ross Marquand), who nearly died in an assassination attempt. The are now under the leadership of former advisor Magneto (Matthew Waterson).
At the end of Season 1, the X-Men were scattered throughout time, and Season 2 follows as they work to get back to their original timeline to stop the apocalypse.
