Sadly, no. Dutton Ranch Episode 9, “El Padrino,” which aired on Friday, July 2 served as the Season 1 finale. It’s now available to stream on Paramount+.
Will There Be A Season 2 of Dutton Ranch?
While Dutton Ranch Season 1 is over, there are thankfully more new episodes on the way! On Wednesday, June 24, ahead of Dutton Ranch Episode 8, Paramount+ officially renewed the series for Season 2.
On top of having an 89% Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, according to a press release, “Dutton Ranch cemented itself as a smash-hit by amassing 12.9 million viewers globally in the 7 days following its premiere — marking the biggest Original Series launch in Paramount+ history. The series also delivered 2.9 million total viewers during its two-episode debut on Paramount Network on May 15, making it the biggest series premiere on cable since 2023. With 1.85 million viewers for the premiere telecast alone, Dutton Ranch also ranked as the #1 cable entertainment telecast among both adults 18-49 and total viewers.”
Dutton Ranch was also dubbed the #1 streaming series according by Nielsen based on average audience for the week of May 11, and the show was a smash hit on Paramount+ social channels as well.

Since Dutton Ranch Season 1 just wrapped, there’s no official Dutton Ranch Season 2 premiere date on the books yet. And we still have a little PTSD from the almost two-year gap between Yellowstone Season 5, Part 1 and Part 2. We know Sheridan-verse show turnaround times vary depending on a number of factors, but the fact that Dutton Ranch already found a new showrunner is a promising sign. If the writers get back to work and production commences in a timely fashion, we could hopefully get new episodes of Dutton Ranch in 2027. While we expect that battle to take up decent Season 2 attention, someone also has to answer for Rob-Will’s death, which left Oreana and Beulah devastated. Plus, Oreana will be pregnant and missing Carter! Will Beulah realize that Mariano and Joaquin are to blame for her pain? And what happens to the ranches if Beth and Rip cut ties with the Jacksons?!
