Kyle Cooke is opening up about his tense showdown with West Wilson on Summer House: The Aftermath.
Kyle, 43, sat down for a filmed conversation on May 20, two months after news broke that West, 31, was dating Kyle’s estranged wife Amanda Batula, and one month after they filmed the Summer House season 10 reunion.
After the bonus episode aired on Tuesday, June 16, Kyle claimed via Threads that West relied “on ambiguity and vagueness to dodge the truth” during their conversation, adding, “Holy word salad 🥗.”
“West asked me for the opportunity to talk in person. He came in without a game plan and hadn’t even watched the episodes (step 1 in taking accountability when you’re on tv),” the Loverboy founder continued.
“He didn’t even plan on [being] honest about Meija [Moreno] until I dragged it out of him,” Kyle continued, referring to West’s ex.
During Tuesday’s episode, West admitted that he was in a relationship with Meija in summer 2025, when Summer House season 10 was in production. During filming, he kissed and flirted with ex Ciara Miller. He was linked to Meija through March, when he announced his burgeoning relationship with Amanda, 34.
“She 100 percent was operating as if we had an exclusive relationship and I wasn’t. That’s unfair and that’s f***ing s***y. I definitely led her on,” he revealed.
According to Kyle, “Only thing I learned is that he isn’t man enough to look me in the eyes, and he doesn’t know what love is because even that answer he gave was a circular reference.”
On Tuesday’s episode, Kyle and West also discussed West’s newfound relationship with Amanda from whom Kyle separated in January.
“I want her to be happy, man. I worry you’re going to break her heart,” Kyle said.
“Can I tell you that every other relationship that I’ve had — I have not had good relationships — I can tell you that my relationship with Amanda is the first time it’s ever come from a steady three-year friendship,” West responded. “There’s nothing performative about it.”
“I regret so many f***ing things. The one thing I cannot regret and am not going to take back is my feelings for Amanda,” West said.
Following his controversial romance with Amanda, Us Weekly confirmed that West is not returning for Summer House season 11 on Bravo.
“It was a mutual decision between the network and West,” a source exclusively told Us, noting that West went into the season 10 reunion “already feeling like his time on the show was coming to an end.”
The source added, “He is at peace with the decision and is focusing on his podcast and other business ventures.”
