After night two of the America’s Got Talent Season 21 auditions, two more acts had advanced to the live shows after receiving Golden Buzzers from Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel. Sofia handed hers to Australian vocalist Lara D and Howie went all-in for South Korean magic act Hundred Fingers.
Previously on night one, Simon Cowell hit the buzzer for singer Lai Noelle, Terry Crews gave one to the dance crew-dog act Acro Crew, and Howie anointed Cuban rapper Luke Taleno. While Howie has now used up both of his Golden Buzzer selections, Mel B remains the only judge yet to lock in for an act of her choice.
This season, each of the judges and Terry have two Golden Buzzers to hand out. The 10 acts chosen in that way earn a ticket straight to the live shows. Acts not originally chosen to advance, but who earned “yes” votes from three or more judges would participate in an all new Judges’ Callbacks round for a another chance to earn their spot through judges’ deliberation.
