For some, ball is life. For others, The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is life.
Mark Consuelos shouted out the New York Knicks on Live with Kelly and Mark on Wednesday as the team heads into the NBA Finals tonight against the San Antonio Spurs. Consuelos noted that Games 1 and 2 are in San Antonio, but the two teams will be in the Big Apple to play at Madison Square Garden for Games 3 and 4 starting on Monday, June 8.
Kelly Ripa reminded Consuelos, who has only seven shows left in Fallen Angels on Broadway, that he “won’t have a show” on Monday, and that he “could go to the game.” Consuelos turned his attention toward Live executive producer Michael Gelman as he pondered the idea, puzzling Ripa.
“Why are you looking at him?” she asked. “He doesn’t know anything.”
Gelman teased, “Are you looking at me for tickets?”
Consuelos said that they “may know somebody at ABC,” which is the network home of this year’s NBA Finals.
“Maybe I could go. I would love to go to a game,” he told Ripa. “Yeah, that would be great. You can go, too.”
However, Ripa told Consuelos that she’s got other plans.
“Let’s not get carried away. I can’t go. As you know, Monday nights are very big for me. It’s Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” she explained. “That is a sacred night. That night is sacred. Monday nights I am unavailable.”

Nonetheless, Consuelos continued reading about the steep prices for a ticket to an NBA Finals game at Madison Square Garden, telling viewers that courtside seats cost $42,000.
Ripa replied, “Well, you don’t have to sit courtside.”
Consuelos agreed, “I’d rather not. And the cheapest nosebleeds are just under $1,000. There’s not a bad seat in the Garden, though.”
Ripa joked, “You’re working two jobs. You can swing it.”
