Netflix is cooking up a streaming slate sure to bring the heat in June 2026, thanks to the fantastic films, documentaries, and specials that will entertain you with lighthearted tales, grip you with shocking stories, and so much more. Whether you’re looking for something intense, informative, or humorous, Netflix has got you covered. Keep reading for the streamer’s best new movies coming in June.

Netflix is releasing two standout original films in the first half of the month, with the Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein-led romantic comedy Office Romance, as well as the Diego Luna-helmed semi-biographical sports dramedy, Mexico 86, which are both poised to potentially land in the Netflix Top 10.

Additionally, in the back half of the month, Netflix will debut some more light-hearted and amusing movies, like John Cena and Eric André’s raunchy comedy Little Brother, Zoey Deutch and Nick Robinson-led romantic comedy Voicemails for Isabelle, and South Korean action-comedy Husbands in Action.

Lastly, if you want to see something a bit more serious at any point of the month, you can check out Netflix Original crime documentaries Maternal Instinct and The Murder of Rachel Nickell, or the moving, family-focused drama film Color Book, as they drop throughout June.

Inspired by true events, Mexico 86 offers a fictionalized version of how Mexico came to host the 1986 World Cup, following bureaucrat Martín De La Torre (Diego Luna) as he harnesses his craftiness, spunk, and fervent passion for soccer to earn his home country the honor of hosting one of the world’s biggest sporting events, against all odds.

The film follows Oscar Isaac double-cast as Divine Comedy scribe Dante Alighieri, as well as contemporary author and supposed-Dante expert Nick Tosches, in a layered tale that sees Nick help a mob boss steal the handwritten manuscript of Dante’s magnum opus, while also following the parallel plotline of Dante devising Divine Comedy back in the 14th century.

As they attempt to move forward, the father-son duo embarks on an adventure through Metro Atlanta to attend their first baseball game, painting a moving portrait of grief, love, and resilience in the process.
